Once a dog had seven puppies under an apple tree.
Six of them were ordinary, and the seventh had a fiery tail. The dog tried its best to put out the fire on the puppy's tail, but each time it flashed again.
The Fire Tail brought much misfortune to his brothers and sisters. Finally, the dog decided to leave him alone to save the rest of the puppies.
Fire Tail saddened alone and began to wander around the world. Wherever he went, fires always followed him, and everyone was afraid of him.
Once, on a late cold evening, the Tail of Fire met a frozen tramp. The tramp sat on the ground and tried to make a fire to warm itself, but its hands trembled, and the cold branches did not light up. “You're cold because the world freezes in the evening,” said Fire Tail to the tramp. “I'm cold because my house burned down and I have nowhere to hide from the cold,” the tramp answered him.
Then Fire Tail came to the tramp and brought the tail to the fire. The branches immediately flashed with a bright hot flame, blowing the heat of two travelers.
But as soon as the fire broke out between the branches, the Fire Tail immediately saw in them a burning house of a tramp. Burning houses of thousands of creatures. Tears poured from his eyes.
The Fire Tail cried, and his tears extinguished all the fires, extinguished the fire on his tail. His tears flooded the whole world with salt water, and the Flameless Tail took refuge from its sadness in a hole under a dried apple tree.
In the morning, the Flameless Tail found that the apple tree blossomed and filled with fruits. Then he decided that in this beautiful place would be his home and a home of his children.
